Freelance Job of the Day

Freelance broadcast news writer (Boston): WB56 (WLVI-TV) is searching for a Writer for The 10 O'Clock News. Successful candidates must have 3 years previous experience writing copy for broadcast news and a Bachelors Degree. This job includes weekend shifts and requires the ability to work well under pressure and with others. Duties include: * Writing clear, concise factually accurate copy for newscasts * Assisting the producer with script and videotape organization * Producing each story assigned and monitoring its development throughout the shift * Acting as a back-up Producer * Staying informed of current affairs * Setting up and field producing special reports Requirements: Interested candidates may send a resume and cover letter to Jen Coletti, Director of Human Resources, WB56, 75 Morrissey Blvd., Boston, MA 02125 or fax to 617-474-5334.
