Part-time writer, historical and cultural experience: BlinnPR is looking for an experienced part time writer w/historical and cultural experience. Responsibilities: 1. Review of existing documentation. 2. Meetings. Attend meetings, via phone or in person (in either Philadelphia, PA or New York, NY). 3. Edit Draft Reports. 4. Edit final Report. Qualifications: 1. Editing Experience - Extensive editing experience of a creative nature, relating to mechanical, substantive, and stylistic components of non-technical publications. 2. Historical and Cultural Experience - Direct experience specific to editing of documents with cultural and historical content, and a demonstrated understanding of cultural concerns related to the history and legacy of enslavement of African Americans, in order to adequately provide evaluations related to substance, ideas, language, presentation of information.
